Barb Williams

Barbie really doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life.  She has a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry and an MFA in Acting.  See, that’s proves my point.  She’s done some acting, mainly classical stuff, with such companies as the Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival (which doesn’t exist anymore) and the Old Globe Theater in San Diego, where she spent a few years trying to figure out what to do with her life (it didn’t work).  She’s done some directing.  Some favorites include Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses (she would REALLY like to be Mary Zimmerman, but can’t figure out how), Lord of the Flies (that was a good one), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (ask me about that one),  and this really odd Marquis De Sade piece that she created and staged in an old rock quarry in Provence, France (I have photos). She’s done some teaching – for a little while at the University of San Diego and for a LONG while at the Savannah College of Art and Design (it was long because she didn’t like living in the south).  She currently lives with her kindly old mother and four cats in Beaver County.  So you should take pity on her.  Oh, and her hair isn’t this long anymore, but this is the last good photo she could find of herself.
